I also added interactive lyrics for my Mitosis Song. I’ve been inspired (shaken up, really) by reading Make it Stick, my new bible for teaching. If students are going to remember it, why am I teaching it. Make it Stick argues that effortful learning is what makes learning happen. So, if I’m going to have learners read my lyrics, I’m going to make it effortful, by making users drag in appropriate terms.
